Noise from AC units extreme enough to disrupt sleep!!! Assistant manager displayed alarming behavior toward guests!!! Overall, a few improvements could really enhance the experience!!!

Initially assigned a room on the second floor, I found relief when the clerk promptly changed it to the first floor after realizing my physical needs. A rollercoaster of room assignments!

The check-in process was really smooth and efficient.

i was really disappointed when i first arrived. the front desk guy was rude and didn't want to help. but at least my new room on the 1st floor was clean, and the pool area was nice. plus, the Starbucks coffee in the lobby was great.

The staff quickly accommodated my request to change rooms, making me feel valued. Their smile and readiness to help brightened my stay amidst the chaos.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning units were extremely noisy, disturbing my sleep on two different nights. It was an exhausting challenge that could have been avoided.

We enjoyed visiting the annual Rio Grande Valley Birding Festival and checking out the 17th Street Entertainment District. The staff was friendly, and the location was super convenient for exploring the area. Just a great spot for getting together with friends.

The only downside was the noise from other rooms. It got a bit distracting at times, but overall, it didn’t ruin our fun.

I had a great time exploring nearby parks and cultural sites, with the McAllen Heritage Center just a 10-minute stroll away and the charming La Placita market less than a 5-minute walk, making it easy to dive into the local culture and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.

The proximity to local attractions made it easy for me to explore the area. I noticed that the front desk staff provided exceptional service, ensuring all my requests were met promptly.

I arrived needing a room on the first floor due to my mobility issues, and the front desk quickly accommodated me, which was a lifesaver! The pool and hot tub were perfect spots to unwind after a long day. The bathroom door was a bit wonky, but it didn’t spoil my overall enjoyment. 😊

Got my room sorted eventually!

Had a bit of a mess with my room at first – asked for a 1st floor and got the 2nd. But Greco from the front desk turned it around and helped me switch to the ground floor. Just crazy! WiFi wasn’t working well for me, but I enjoyed the breakfast options that were pretty good! Not the best customer service overall.

not recommended, old hotel with rude staff but free parking available
